String of oligarchs resign from company with stake in North Sea venture

A number of Russian oligarchs have left one of the companies behind the German-Russian North Sea venture, informs Wintershall Dea. Several of them were added to EU’s lists of sanctions against individuals with ties to the financial services sector and Putin’s innermost circle.

As the war rages on in Ukraine, several key Russian financiers with ties to the Kremlin’s inner circle have opted to resign from one of the shareholding companies behind the North Sea venture Wintershall Noordzee.
