Ørsted has expanded on its target of 100% sustainable energy from not only concerning strategic suppliers but all suppliers. This means the power company now expects that all the company’s suppliers by 2025 only use energy from sustainable sources when they provide products or services to Ørsted, the utility writes in a statement.

The demand comes in the wake of the plan of action presented by Ørsted in 2020, which entails that carriers working for the Danish wind major have to report how and when they will be able to sail on green energy.
