Aker BP is behind a new discovery of oil and gas, currently estimated to amount to 1.7-5.7 million cubic meters of oil equivalent, according to a statement issued by the Norwegian oil firm on Friday.
The discovery was made near the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea, and Pgnig is partner on the license. The duo is now considering whether the discovery ought to be connected to Skarv, which is 14 kilometers away.
