Solstad: Supply upturn already underway

The strained supply sector is facing a much-needed upturn. According to Lars Peder Solstad, it has already started, and he sees a positive market lasting until the end of 2023 as a minimum, he tells ShippingWatch.

Solstad Offshore has never made this much money during a quarter, and yet the financial result of the Norwegian carrier still ended up in the red after a foreign currency exchange loss in US dollars. Still, the CEO thinks the market is facing an upswing – in fact, he thinks it has already begun.
