Cadeler has ordered wind service vessels for EUR 1.2 bn in the midst of inflation crisis

In the US, the cost of a new wind vessel has skyrocketed to USD 625m, but Cadeler is confident in steering clear of inflation and higher interest rates in ship orders, says chief exec.

Over the past two years, Cadeler has placed a total order for the construction of four new wind turbines for a total of EUR 1.2bn (USD 1.3bn) at the Chinese shipyard Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry.
