Another US offshore wind project buys out of supply agreement

A joint venture between Shell and Ocean Wind has reached an agreement to finalize a supply contract for a 1.2GW offshore wind project in the state of New England.

Last week, Ørsted announced a DKK multibillion write-down due to challenges in the US market, including profitability pressures in a number of large offshore wind projects that the company has previously acquired the rights to build.
