This is how much Norwegian offshore workers make

The average basic salary in Norwegian offshore ranges from USD 6,917 to USD 11,800 a month, according to new numbers.

Full-time employees in the Norwegian offshore and gas industry had an average basic monthly salary of USD 10,721 per October 1st 2013, not including overtime. This marks an increase of USD 590, or 5.7 percent, compared to the same period last year. This is evident from a new survey Norway's statistical bureau Statistisk Sentralbyrå, according to Offshore.no.
