Americans secure place on Maersk drilling rig

Maersk Drilling has secured another customer for its drilling rig Maersk Discoverer, which will be deployed off the coast of Morocco.

American Kosmos Energy has made a deal with Maersk Drilling and oil company and partner BP to hire the rig Maersk Discoverer to work in a joint field off the coast of Morocco, reports Marketwatch.

According to plan Maersk Discoverer will be deployed to drill for Kosmos Energy in the first half of the new year.
