Kvaerner lands Sverdrup order for USD 490 million

Orders for the major Sverdrup oil field, which includes Statoil and Maersk, have started ticking in. Statoil has taken the first step toward a USD 490 million order with Kvaerner.

This is one of the biggest oil fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and as such - for the suppliers who manage to get into the giant oil field - this field involves some of the biggest contracts available.
