Media: Statoil looking to push Johan Castberg field

Statoil is looking to postpone development of the large Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea yet again, but the company needs to convince the two partners Eni and Petoro to support this decision, reports offshore.no.

If Statoil gets its will, development of the major Johan Castberg field in the Barents Sea will be postponed yet again, reports Norwegian Offshore.no. Industry sources tell the media that Statoil is working to convince its two partners in the field, Eni and Petoro, to push the concept selection from the second quarter 2015 to the third quarter 2016.
