Yet another delay could be underway in the development process of the giant Johan Sverdrup field.
The partners in the field, including Statoil and Maersk Oil, were scheduled to submit a development plan for the major oil field off the coast of Norway on Friday, February 13th. But there is no guarantee that the parties will reach agreement before that, reports Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv citing Margareth Øvrum, one of Statoil's vice presidents.
