Pressure on oil rig owners will increase next year, as planned deliveries of jackup rigs can reach a peak, Clarksons Platou writes in a new analysis of the rig market.

Pressure on owners of so-called jackup rigs will increase in 2016. According to a new analysis from Clarksons Platou, 2016 will be a peak year with 60 planned jackup units to be delivered at a time when the oil industry is severely affected by slumping prices and lower activity.
