Danske Bank impaired offshore activities in 2015

Danske Bank has had to perform impairments on its offshore-related shipping activities in 2015. The numbers are not dramatic, though higher than in 2014, the bank's global head of shipping tells ShippingWatch.

Danske Bank, which just released its annual report, has had to perform impairments on its shipping portfolio in 2015. The bank declines to specify the size of the impairments, but the bank's global head of shipping, Øivind Haraldsen, notes that the figures mark an increase, as the bank did not perform notable impairments in 2014.
