Deep Sea Supply forced to idle more ships

Norwegian Deep Sea Supply is hard hit by the low activity in the North Sea along with Brazil's favoritism of the country's own offshore vessels in the South American oil market. Thus the company will be forced to idle more ships in the coming months.

The John Fredriksen-controlled offshore carrier Deep Sea Supply, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, is extremely exposed to the declining activity among oil companies in the North Sea. And the company has announced a steady negative development throughout 2015, where hundreds of supply vessels have been pulled from the market. Several more may be on their way, predicts Deep Sea Supply in the annual report on Friday morning.
