Maersk Oil announces further layoffs

Challenging market conditions lead Maersk Oil to shut down a regional office and pull employees as well as divisions to headquarters in Copenhagen, according to a press release.

Maersk Oil reduces activity in Angola and the US as a result of the continuing tough conditions in the sector for offshore oil extraction, writes the Maersk Group's oil company in a press release.
