Subsea 7 wins billion dollar contract in North Sea

The major offshore installation carrier Subsea 7 will work with Seaway Heavy Lifting to install a giant offshore wind farm in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland. The contract is worth more than USD 1 billion.

Good news for Subsea 7 in the otherwise hard-hit offshore market. The Luxembourg-based installation company has secured a new contract from Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Limited for the development of the major Beatrice wind farm in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland.
