
The recent uptick is not enough to keep rig West Hercules from being sent back from Statoil to owner Seadrill. This is clear after Statoil on Monday announced that it has terminated the lease and will send the rig back as soon as possible.
West Hercules has been employed with Statoil since January 2013 and was planned to be used for drillings in the Asta Hansen license, starting July 1st this year. Bu the field has been delayed and is now not expected ready before 2018.
