Oil Director: Norwegian offshore should not cut too deep

Director General of employer's organization The Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, Karl Eirik Schjøtt-Pedersen, warns members of the Norwegian offshore sector against cutting so deep that a lack of employees becomes an problem in the future.

The Norwegian offshore sector must be careful not to cut too deep in its attempt to withstand the consequences of the low oil price. Otherwise the companies risk facing a shortage of of employees when the recovery arrives, according to Norwegian news agency NTB.
