Farstad free from payments for three months

As part of the efforts to secure more profitable conditions on the carrier's debt, Farstad Shipping has made a deal with secured lenders enabling the offshore carrier to defer all payments until October 2016.

As the first step in a financial restructuring of the offshore carrier Farstad, the carrier and a majority of its lenders have agreed on a standstill and deferral period, the carrier informs in a corporate statement.
