Aker, Det Norske, and Subsea 7 form new alliance

Three Norwegian offshore companies across the supply chain are now joining forces to develop solutions for operator Det Norske's subsea fields with a joint alliance. The industry needs to find new ways to work, says Det Norske CEO.

A new form of collaboration concerning oil extraction on the Norwegian shelf has been born, informs oil company Det Norske, oil service company Aker Solutions, and offshore carrier Subsea 7 in a press release.

The three companies have formed a joint alliance, which will develop solutions for Det Norske's portfolio of subsea fields, because when the operator joins forces with the suppliers to create solutions, it will be possible to achieve the most cost efficient methods, note the partners.
