Siem Offshore boosts operating result in Q3

Norwegian offshore carrier Siem Offshore can look back on a third quarter with an improved operating result, but the company sees a continued need to idle vessels in the weak offshore market.

Siem Offshore, controlled by major Norwegian investor Kristian Siem, closed the third quarter 2016 with an improved operating result and a smaller deficit compared to last year in the historically low market for supply vessels servicing the offshore sector.
