Siem Offshore cancels newbuilding from Polish shipyard

A newbuilding from Polish shipyard Remontowa is now so delayed that Siem Offshore has canceled the order. Earlier this year Royal Arctic Line sold two newbuildings before delivery from the yard, also citing delays.

Siem Offshore has run out of patience for Polish shipbuilder Remontowa.

The Norwegian offshore carrier has canceled the third ship in an order for a total of four platform supply vessels (PSV), citing the fact that the vessel has been delayed from the Polish yard, informs the carrier in a notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange Wednesday.
