First oil for Aker BP field Ivar Aasen

Norwegian oil company Aker BP accurately met its own deadline for the oil field Ivar Aasen. The first oil from the field was collected Christmas Eve, within the deadline of the four-year plan originally submitted by Aker BP for the construction of the field. Aker BP promised in the original plan to collect the first oil before Dec. 31 2016.
