Semco Maritime delivers new large deficit

Semco Maritime suffered setbacks in 2016 triggered by declining activity in oil and gas. The bottom line went red for the third consecutive year with the biggest deficit in the three-year period, and the company also laid off staff last year.

Weaker activity in the key market for oil and gas meant that Denmark's Semco Maritime delivered its third consecutive deficit this year, according to the annual report from the engineering and contractor company, published Friday.
