Transocean avoids new tax case in Supreme Court

The Norwegian tax authority has definitively lost a protracted case against Transocean for alleged tax evasion in a case involving the transfer of billions of Norwegian kroner to tax havens via Denmark, reports Dagens Næringsliv.

The Norwegian tax authority has suffered a big and definitive defeat in a protracted case against rig giant Transocean for alleged tax evasion on dividends worth NOK 2.6 billion, reports Dagens Næringsliv.
