Maersk Oil has released 42 tons of non-approved chemicals in the ocean

According to Danish PM who plans to report Maersk to the police, Maersk Oil has systematically violated its permits and misinformed the Danish Environmental Protection Agency.

Danish media DR reports that Maersk Oil has potentially polluted the North Sea more than the company originally told authorities.

Environmental spokesperson from Danish opposition party The Red-Green Alliance (Enhedslisten in Danish), Maria Gjerding, is calling for Maersk Oil to be reported to the police for its chemical discharge in the North Sea.
