Viking Supply doubts better market in 2018

Yet another bad quarter for offshore carrier Viking. Even though there are signs of an improved market in 2018, it is far from certain that this will benefit the carrier in the spot market, says CEO.

The storm continues for Viking Supply Ships as the carrier finished the second quarter with a deficit after taxes of SEK 99 million (USD 12.1 million), though this marks a slight improvement from the same period last year, when the carrier lost SEK 128 million, according to the interim report.
