Subsea 7 orders ship in the Netherlands

The offshore and installation carrier has entered a deal with a Dutch shipbuilder for a new reel-lay vessel. The costs are expected to be less than USD 300 million, according to Subsea 7.

Subsea 7 has made a deal with Dutch shipbuilder Royal IHC which will, according to plan, build a reel-lay vessel and associated pipe lay equipment, informs the offshore and installation carrier in a press release.
