APM Terminals to expand Alabama container facilities

APM Terminals has been granted permission to expand its container terminal in Alabama, after which the port will have the capacity to handle upwards of 1.5 million teu.

Maersk Group's terminal operator APM Terminals has, along with the local authorities in Alabama, in the US, cleared the plans for an expansion of the container facilities in the Mobile port.
