Eurogate and Hamburg suffer small setback in difficult container market

The large European port terminal operator Eurogate declined slightly in 2017 where the new container alliances challenged especially one terminal. Operators in the Port of Hamburg also felt a slight decline in container business.

The puzzle among container carriers the previous year has made an impact on the large European terminal operator Eurogate, which maintained a constant level of handled container volumes in 2017, despite the many changes in alliances.
