DP World buys into major port in Peru

Dubai-based DP World has acquired Peruvian logistics company Cosmos Agencia Maritima for a total of USD 315.7 million. The acquisition provides DP World with ownership of 50 percent of the second-largest container terminal in Peru.

DP World has paid USD 315.7 million to take over Peruvian logistics company Cosmos Agencia Maritima.

In addition to the company's logistics activities, Dubai-based DP World will gain access to the terminal Terminales Portuarious Euroandinos in the Port of Paita, which is Peru's second-largest container terminal.
