Port of Hamburg handles 104 million tons of cargo

The Port of Hamburg handled more containers in the first nine months of the year. The number of of mega-sized container vessels calling at the port has also been on the rise.

Both container volumes and total cargo volumes at sea rose during the first nine months at the Port of Hamburg, the port's interim report shows, revealing a 3.2 percent growth to a total of 104 million tons of cargo.
