CMA CGM enters Chinese deal about port terminals

France's CMA CGM enters agreement with China Merchants about the sale of ten port terminals throughout the world. The terminals will be acquired by a company jointly owned by the French and Chinese companies.

CMA CGM has reached an agreement with China Merchants Port Holdings (CM Port) to divest shares in a number of port terminals.

However, the French company will not completely lose its stakes in the ten port terminals situated throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean, as the portfolio will be acquired by Terminal Link, which CMA co-owns with CM Port.
