APM Terminals initiates major expansion of Georgian port

In future, the port of Poti in Georgia needs to be able to accommodate larger ships, believes operator APM Terminal Poti, which has just submitted plans for the new port to the government. The project requires large investments from private investors.

APM Terminals Poti has submitted plans to expand the port Poti in Georgia.

The terminal operator's project requires a USD 250 million investment from private investors for the first phase of the project, as well as another significant amount for the phase two.
