EU block of South Korean yard merger may be approaching

The EU is expected to block merger of two world-leading shipbuilders, South Korean DSME and HHI, reports Financial Times. Decision may be announced this week.

Following a number of postponements, it is rumored that the EU's competition authority plans to inform of its decision to block the major yard merger of two world-leading shipbuilders, writes Financial Times.

According to sources, the decision to block the merger will probably be made public within the week.
