Workers commence new strike at UK Port of Felixstowe

For the second time in a few weeks, almost 2,000 port workers cease working at the UK’s largest container port, Felixstowe. 600 employees at the Port of Liverpool are already on strike.

Around 1,900 port workers at major British port Felixstowe commenced an eight-day strike on Tuesday, thereby joining their colleagues in Liverpool, who ceased working on Sept. 19 in a strike slated to carry on for two weeks.
