Container ships spend 20 percent more time in ports

Ships are currently spending 20 percent more time in ports compared to the years before Covid caused congestion on a global scale, according to analyst firm.

Container ports are on average 20 percent slower at loading and unloading ship containers than just a couple of years ago, writes Sea-Intelligence in its Sunday Spotlight newsletter.
