Port of Hamburg's result strengthened by Chinese container traffic

Containers from China are a bright spot for the Port of Hamburg’s major terminal company, which has otherwise seen a marked decline in volumes.

Revenue increased at port company Hamburg Hafen und Logistik (HHLA) during the first nine months of the year, but the number of containers passing through the port dropped ”significantly” except the traffic from China, according to a statement on the financial report.
