Media: Chinese cranes could spy on US ports

US authorities fear that China could be spying via Chinese-built cranes in ports across the US, including ports in military use, writes The Wall Street Journal.

In a time of increased focus on China’s spy efforts towards the US, e.g. resulting in the shooting down of multiple ”unidentified objects” in North American airspace, the Americans have started to scrutinize other areas of possible Chinese eavesdropping.
