CMA CGM to expand US key ports over the next ten years

The French shipping company has closed the deal for two port terminals in Bayonne and New York on the US East Coast.

French shipping company CMA CGM has finalized the acquisition of the two US port terminals Global Container Terminals, GCT, Bayonne and New York, and has also announced plans to expand the container and shipping space according to a statement from the company.

With the acquisition in New York and New Jersey, the largest ports on the East Coast of the United States, the major French shipping and logistics group has a portfolio of seven container terminals in the United States.
