Shipbrokers lash out at German farmers after port blockade

The German shipbrokers association has lost patience with protesting farmers, saying an industry that relies on state aid must behave properly, according to media reports.

After several days of protests where the major ports of Hamburg and Wilhelmshaven have been blocked with tractors, sympathy for the farmers from the shipping industry is wearing thin, according to the shipbrokers’ organization, Zentralverband Deutsher Schiffsmakler, to the media Hansa-online.de.
