Port of Rotterdam plans to invest after weak 2023

The number of containers decreased, but the Dutch port earned enough money to ramp up investments, according to the financial report for 2023.

Fewer containers and less dry cargo and coal were transported through Europe’s largest port in 2023, and this is reflected in the port’s finances.
