Hamburg businesses want more investments in the city's port

Germany is investing too little in developing the Port of Hamburg, the country’s largest, despite the port’s crucial contribution to the German economy, business organizations warn.

The Port of Hamburg is the economic ”heart” of the city, but efforts to future-proof the port through investments in necessary infrastructure are completely inadequate, warn two of the city’s business organizations.
