“APM Terminals is disappointed with the decision of the Virginia Port Authority (VPA) Board of Commissioners announced today”, writes APM Terminals in a brief statement.
The company has no further comments on the matter due to the ongoing Private-Public Transportation Act (PPTA) which the company wishes to respect. Yesterday it was revealed that the Port of Virginia, the largest container port in the U.S., will not be privatized after all. The decision was reached unanimously by the top management of the port, Virginia Port Authority Board of Commissioners (VPA Board).
