
The positive reports on US growth are now confirmed by new numbers from American analyst agency Zepol. In a survey of container throughput in the 20 biggest US ports, only four of the ports experienced a lower throughput last year. These are Los Angeles (-3.1 percent), Seattle (-24.6 percent), Wilmington (-4.4 percent), and Gulfport with -3.1 percent.
Los Angeles is still the US port that handles the biggest number of containers, with 3,969,742 teu.
