Chinese port activity brings hopes of export growth

The Chinese ports have been increasingly busy in June, and this development indicates that the country's export could be on the rise again, according to the Journal of Commerce.

The cargo volumes passing through the eight biggest ports in China increased 7.8 percent from June last year to June of this year, a development that adds momentum to the Chinese export optimism, says the Journal of Commerce on the basis of numbers from Citi Research.
