Growth in fatal accidents at APM Terminals

APM Terminals has been hit by an increased number of accidents with fatal outcomes in 2014 compared to previous years. Especially in developing nations. Very worrying, CEO tells Danish newspaper Børsen.

The number of work-related accidents with fatal outcomes at APM Terminals has increased significantly in 2014 compared to previous years, according to Børsen (article in Danish). In the first seven months of the year eight people have lost their life, with seven of the incidents taking place in regions such as Africa, Asia and the Middle East. In comparison, the company experienced three fatalities in 2013.
