Busan unveils major port expansion

With new expansion plans, Korea's Busan Port aims to handle 13 million TEU of transshipment cargo by 2020, ranking it number two in the world.

Korea's Busan Port can look forward to a major expansion in the coming years, as the country's Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries has announced large-scale plans to develop the port into a global transshipment hub ahead of 2020.
