China's new terminal giant notes growth in container

The new Chinese terminal company Cosco Shipping Ports grew its container throughput in the first half of the year. The company hopes to be able to expand in the coming years.

Recently-merged Cosco Shipping Ports, which arose from the merger of the COSCO conglomerate which includes the subsidiaries Cosco Pacific and China Shipping Container Lines, delivered growth in the first six months of the year.
