Global Ports took yet another dive in 2016

The number of containers which passed through the terminals of Russia's Global Ports dropped by 22 percent in the first half of 2016, while revenue and the operating result noted setbacks as well.

The downturn in Russia's largest port company Global Ports, of which the Maersk Group owns 30 percent, continued into 2016 with severely declining container volumes, as evident in the half-year interim report published Friday by Global Ports.
